Patio, driveway & pool deck coating in Thousand Oaks: Quick Answer
Outdoor concrete coatings protect patios, driveways and pool decks from sun, stains and slips, using a UV-stable topcoat that will not yellow. Installed price: $8–$12 per sq ft; typical two-car garage $3,200–$4,800; install time 1–2 days.
Outdoor floors in the Conejo Valley face strong sun and summer heat. We use a UV-stable polyaspartic system (epoxy alone ambers outdoors) with added grip for wet areas.

How It Goes In
- Diamond grinding — opens the slab to a bonding profile; we never acid-etch.
- Cleaning — HEPA vacuum to remove all grinding dust.
- Repairs — cracks, pits and spalls filled and ground flush.
- Vertical coating — stem walls coated a few inches up for a clean edge.
- Basecoat — pigmented epoxy basecoat, moisture-tolerant where slab readings require it.
- Broadcast — flake, quartz or sand broadcast to rejection (or a metallic pour).
- Scrape & vacuum — loose chips removed for a smooth surface.
- Topcoat — UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat rated for hot tires.
